Missing Link

Sir Lionel Frost receives a letter that confirms the existence of a Sasquatch. This pivotal moment ignites his ambition to prove the creature's existence and gain entry into an elite society.

Frost sets off on an adventurous journey to the Pacific Northwest to find the Sasquatch, whom he later names Mr. Link. His determination is fueled by the desire to impress Lord Piggot-Dunceby, his rival at the society.

Upon reaching the Pacific Northwest, Frost encounters the Sasquatch, who reveals himself as Mr. Link. To Frost's surprise, Mr. Link announces that he sent the letter seeking help to find his relatives, the Yetis, in the Himalayas.

Unbeknownst to Frost, Lord Piggot-Dunceby has hired the bounty hunter Willard Stenk to eliminate him. Stenk's mission poses a significant threat to Frost's quest and his aspirations within the elite society.

Frost seeks the help of Adelina Fortnight, his former love, who possesses a critical map for reaching the Himalayas. Their reunion is tumultuous, as Adelina is initially resentful towards Frost for not attending her husband's funeral.

After a comical break-in, Frost and Adelina manage to escape with the crucial map. This incident prompts Adelina to join their expedition to find the Yetis, albeit reluctantly.

The trio faces a perilous confrontation with Stenk, leading to a series of intense skirmishes. They outsmart him temporarily, but the danger remains as Stenk is relentless in his pursuit.

As they navigate their journey, Adelina encourages Frost to bond with Mr. Link. This moment of connection leads Mr. Link to adopt the name 'Susan', further solidifying their partnership.

Upon reaching the foothills of the Himalayas, Frost and his companions meet the Yeti Queen. The Queen reveals the Yetis' deep distrust of humans, complicating their quest to find Susan's relatives.

After being captured and thrown into a pit, Frost, Adelina, and Susan devise a daring plan to escape. Their teamwork shines as they confront the guards and flee towards freedom.

Frost's beliefs are tested during a climactic encounter with Piggot-Dunceby and Stenk on an ice bridge. He stands firm for Susan, asserting the importance of humanity and acceptance against prejudice.

As tensions rise, Piggot-Dunceby attempts to shatter the ice bridge, leading to his and Stenk's disastrous fall. The escape underscores the peril they faced and the recklessness of their adversaries.

In a humorous yet tense final showdown, Frost faces off against Stenk. A comedic exchange ensues while they cling to the edge of the ice; eventually, Frost and his friends rid themselves of Stenk with a falling icicle.

Victorious yet reflective, Frost recruits Susan as his new partner in investigating mythical creatures. This partnership signifies a new beginning for both characters as they seek their next adventure.

Following their adventures, Adelina expresses her desire to pursue her own adventures. They share a tender moment, acknowledging their feelings before embarking on new journeys apart.
