Controlling a mind proves perilous when two typical teenagers—habitual class‑skippers, fighters, and constant companions of their Walkman headsets—detect an unsettling shift among their classmates. The students adopt a zombie‑like demeanor that defies explanation, and under the direction of an unseen alien, they mete out brutal, merciless punishment to anyone who transgresses.
