A young girl named Mariah discovers she wants a puppy named Princess for Christmas. To fulfill her wish, she must first demonstrate her responsibility by dog-sitting Jack, her uncle's mischievous and unruly dog, who is notorious throughout the county. Mariah’s Christmas dream depends on her ability to handle this challenging task and prove she’s ready for a puppy of her own.
