Thirty years later, Rao becomes a wealthy and influential businessman with power and resources at his disposal. His success provides the means to pursue a remarkable plan: reuniting his parents in a new life. The enmeshed destiny of two generations forms the core premise.

Rao encounters Nagarjuna and Priya, who resemble his deceased parents, and befriends them. He schemes to re-establish the couple, but is shocked when Nagarjuna reveals his lover Prema. With the help of his adviser Girish Karnad, Rao dissolves Prema's relationship to clear a path for his mission.
