After a decade‑long hiatus, this documentary retraces the meteoric ten‑month ascent of Brazil’s cult band Mamonas Assassinas, whose irreverent, witty and wildly creative songs captured the nation and moved two million copies in half a year. Featuring never‑seen archives and interviews with family, friends, producers and fellow musicians, it chronicles their rapid fame, the obstacles they faced, and the 1996 plane crash that claimed every member.
