The film traces Arnaldo Baptista’s life from his early years, through his peak as front‑man of the pioneering Brazilian group Mutantes, his marriage to singer Rita Lee and their subsequent split. It follows the deep depression and suicide attempt after the band dissolved, his solo work, the gradual reunion with his brother and fellow Mutantes member Sérgio Dias, and culminates with the group’s 2006 comeback.
