A wordless, bleak winter tableau evokes “Waiting for Godot.” A man drags a tiny sleigh while another sits atop, picking at a dead bird. They exchange places; the new driver pulls out knitting. Misunderstandings, accidents and an outright fight erupt as they shuffle the empty stretch, questioning what remains of civility and partnership when the sleight is lost.
