Professor Raymond Forrester, a psychology professor at UCLA, invites his student and aspiring actress Dorothy Crowder to a Malibu hotel. A mysterious package delivers LSD, leading them to become among the first Americans to experience a psychedelic trip. As New Year’s Eve 1960 approaches, their journey takes a dark and dangerous turn, blurring the lines between reality and nightmare. Now, they must fight to regain their senses and escape a terrifying cycle of indulgence, violence, and the search for truth in a seemingly idyllic location.
