The Berlin techno label BummBumm Records embarks on a rave tour under the name “Magical Mystery.” Karl Schmidt, known as Charly, was once a promising artist who retreated from the scene after a nervous breakdown five years prior. Now living in a supervised living arrangement in Hamburg, he finds himself working as a driver and custodian for the energetic DJs and producers involved in the tour. The experience offers him a chance to pursue a more self-directed life after years of guidance and support.
