Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel is a 1983‑84 Studio Pierrot magical‑girl TV series that aired on Nippon Television. It spawned five OVA releases and appeared in other Pierrot specials. A three‑volume manga, written by Kazunori Itō with art by Yuuko Kitagawa, accompanied the broadcast. The show marked Pierrot’s first magical‑girl production and featured Akemi Takada’s character designs. In TV Asahi’s 2005 top‑100 anime poll it placed 82nd. North‑American streaming began via the Anime Sols service, which also funded limited DVD releases of the first episodes.
