Ushamma Bindu Panicker is the wife of the late Mohan of Kalluvelil Tharavad, a Nair family in Kumbazha. She has three children: Manu Mohan Sharafudheen (the eldest), Meera Mohan Rajisha Vijayan (the final-year MCom student who also runs a home tuition centre), and Malu Meenakshi Warrier (a second-year engineering student at Mount Zion College). Meanwhile, Manu and Shalabha step outside and witness Meera’s students—one girl and one boy—who reveal that Meera has supported their relationship and promised to help them marry. This realization unsettles Manu. Late at night, Manu wakes up to drink water and overhears Meera on the phone, discovering that she has two more boyfriends, Vishnu Shine Tom Chacko and Mahesh. The next day, Manu and Ushamma search Meera’s room and uncover several SIM cards, deepening their worries.

Sree Shankar, who once visited Meera’s home to inspect their cow, arrives with his mother bearing a marriage proposal of his own, further complicating the choice before Meera and her family. Ushamma tells them that Meera’s marriage has already been fixed with another person and invites them to the wedding, even as Meera tries to temper her relationships with Disney James, Anwar, and Vishnu, explaining the marriage proposal. On the eve of the wedding, Anwar visits Meera, but Manu’s tension alarms him, and Jose consoles Anwar before returning him home. Meera’s quiet phone conversations continue to trouble Manu as wedding preparations proceed.

As the ceremony unfolds, Manu realizes that Anwar and Disney James, along with Sree Shankar, are present at the wedding. Despite the tension and concerns about possible trouble, the wedding proceeds without incident. After the wedding, a new revelation arrives: Bijukuttan, the bus conductor who often ferries Meera’s students, was also her lover for four years. This shocking disclosure adds another layer to the family’s concerns about Meera’s past relationships. Malu expresses admiration for Meera as a role model, which surprises Manu and Ushamma. Finally, on the night of the wedding, Jeevan Raj confesses all his secrets to Meera, closing the chapter on the wedding that had been fraught with complications and uncertain loyalties.
