A modern take on Aristophanes’ ancient comedy, this film follows Athenian women who unite in a bold sex strike, refusing intimacy with their husbands and soldiers until the men agree to end the war with Sparta. Set against the Peloponnesian conflict, the comedic narrative mixes humor and a feminist twist, showing how the women’s collective withholding becomes a weapon to pressure the men back from the front lines.
