The short begins with Harold Lloyd as his “Lonesome Luke” character. Abruptly he declares his intention to enlist in the navy, a decision that feels unexplained and suggests missing context. Snub Pollard also joins, and both appear on a ship without any depicted training. The film concludes when Pollard’s wife boards the vessel searching for him, leaving the plot unresolved and anticlimactic.
