A laugh‑out‑loud comedy of the season, it follows Lt. Commander Badger, RN—affectionately called the Artful Bodger—whose only flaw is an unflinching honesty that forces him to speak the truth at the worst possible moments. After a cheeky comment to fresh recruits is splashed across the tabloids, higher‑ups scramble to reassign him to a distant posting, setting off a cascade of farcical mishaps.
