Three friends turn their mutual affection for Karen into a month‑long competition, forbidding any use of advertising or radio to contact her. The rules stipulate that the loser steps aside, while the winner gains unrestricted freedom to court her. The film tracks their increasingly inventive attempts and the strain the rivalry places on their friendship.
