Facing the late‑stage realization that his signed works have never been recognized, the artist Cimrman abandons personal fame and embraces anonymity, hoping his creations become part of folk tradition. He observes that modern life is driving songs, legends, proverbs and weather lore to extinction, leaving only anecdotes alive—an element that drives the narrative of his play Lijavec.
