Omar, a young Franco‑Algerian from La Garenne‑Colombes, spends his holiday in Algeria, the land of his ancestors. On his return he boards the ferry Le Tassili, where he meets fellow passengers who mirror his own story. Their good‑natured humor masks hidden heartbreaks, and their conversations reveal striking parallels and unspoken sorrows as the vessel glides across the water.
