While fishing, two children catch a talking fish named Red Lantern, who drags them underwater to the Land of the Lost, a place where lost items reappear. There they meet King Find All, a walrus, and Hoppy‑Go‑Lucky, a singing cricket that was the girl's pin. The emerald cricket is taken to a jewel vault, though he wishes to return to the Land of Toys.
