Inside a rundown stadium in Kirkuk, Iraq, refugees fleeing Saddam Hussein’s regime endure poverty and bombings. Asu cares for his brother, maimed by a landmine, while neighbor Hilin hides her emotions. Soccer offers rare joy; Asu organizes a match that unites Kurds, Arabs and Turks, turning strangers into close neighbors despite their differences.
