Raj bets he can extort money from Kailashnath, and the gang agrees to help him pull it off. They plan a fake kidnapping of Sheetal, with Boney posing as a kidnapper. The group hides in a cottage outside Bombay owned by Pillai to carry out the deception.

Kailashnath panics at the idea of an abduction and decides not to alert the police. One of his aides grows suspicious, hinting that the whole thing might be a setup. Suresh Malhotra is assigned to the case as authorities investigate the incident. Kailashnath hands over the money to the gang, unaware that the plan is still underway.

Raj and Boney recover the money and proceed to meet the skeptical women. Sheetal arrives, looking disturbed, and collapses with a knife in her back. The gang quickly hides Sheetal's body to avoid arousing suspicion, tucking her away to delay discovery. Later, Sheetal's body is found in the decklid of a car parked in a theatre parking lot, making the kidnapping seem even more real.

A dancer named Julie begins to blackmail Kailashnath, demanding a hefty sum. Kailashnath refuses, and Julie issues threats while scheduling a public dance show to collect the prize money. Neelam's uncle is set to attend the function, adding tension to the scheme. The show becomes the stage for the next moves in the plot.

Raj and Boney decide to participate in the dance to get closer and to monitor Julie. During the performance, Raj dances with Julie and realizes she is the woman who nearly killed them earlier. The realization confirms that the accidents in the course of the scheme were connected and not random.

After the show, Neelam returns to her hostel while Raj goes home. Suresh becomes more convinced that the trio is involved and confronts Raj about the alleged conspiracy. The case starts to reveal a larger web around Kailashnath and Julie's influence.

Backstage, Boney goes to Julie's dressing room to press her for information. He hears voices behind a locked door and spies Julie with a man she claims to have targeted before. Julie admits she tried to kill the gang on his orders and even blackmails the man to keep him in line.

That man kills Julie after she confirms the assassination plan, and Boney witnesses the murder through the keyhole. The killer becomes aware of Boney's presence and dispatches goons to finish him. The confrontation escalates as Raj and Suresh sense the danger closing in.

Meanwhile, Boney is stabbed and nearly loses his life as the goons close in. Raj and Suresh arrive just in time to fight them off and rescue Boney. Before passing out, Boney tells Raj that Neelam is in danger, accelerating their resolve to reach her.

Raj calls Neelam, but the call is suddenly disconnected, forcing him to rush to her hostel with Suresh. They discover the watchman dead and Neelam under attack by the killer, who remains unseen. Neelam fights back and manages to throw the assailant out of a window, revealing that the killer is her supposed guardian.

During interrogation, it is revealed that the man posing as Neelam's uncle is actually the estate manager who was appointed guardian by her late father. He explains his motive to preserve his share of the estate, and that Neelam's death would trigger his inheritance. He admits to hiring Julie to kill the gang and to killing Sheetal by mistake when the plan went wrong.

With the killer's testimony, the gang is exonerated and Boney recovers. They return the money to Kailashnath, who forgives them and urges them not to play such rude pranks on people again.
