Based on Franz Kafka's novella, *The Metamorphosis*, this film explores the challenges of adapting an iconic, yet intentionally abstract, story to the screen. The narrative follows Gregor Samsa's inexplicable transformation into an insect, a moment meant to be imagined by the reader, not depicted visually. The film grapples with the difficulties of representing such a surreal and symbolic event, respecting the author’s original intent while creating a compelling cinematic experience.
