Detective Sam Bellamy probes the murder of an elderly German tourist by junk dealer Joseph Katz. Bellamy, involved with Emma, hides the crime; Katz disappears and the trail leads to Berlin for an auction of stolen art. There Bellamy discovers a Nazi‑era trafficking ring and a war criminal’s blackmail scheme. The film draws on Hector Feliciano’s Lost Museum and adapts Guy Konopnicki’s novel Pas de Kaddish pour Sylberstein.
