After marauding and sinking a ship, a pirate crew captures a defiant female passenger and throws her overboard. Swearing revenge, she is rescued by a lone vessel carrying only its captain, first mate and a cat. When the two groups later clash, each believes victory is within reach, but an unforeseen turn decides both of their fates. The film was preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2008.
