Set on the outskirts of Berlin, the film portrays a self-proclaimed priest leading a group of people struggling with addiction and mental health issues within a dilapidated building that serves as a psychosocial support group. Among the residents is Egon, a recent arrival grappling with a severe psychotic disorder. He resists instructions, neglects basic hygiene, and claims to have conversations with Jesus, who apparently encourages his defiant actions. As Egon attempts to interpret these supposed divine messages, he descends further into psychosis, challenging both the priest and the fragile community he leads.
