The film explores the centuries‑long presence of non‑Georgian communities in Georgia, depicting their ambiguous attitudes toward the country. It reflects on both those who call Georgia home and those who covet its finest “rooms,” drawing on Mikhail Javakhishvili’s allegorical novel “Jacos Hiznebi” (Jacko Lodgers) to show how hospitality can transform a humble guest into a proud, demanding presence.
