Following the Abkhaz-Georgian Conflict in 1993, thousands of ethnic Georgian families found shelter in abandoned Soviet sanatoriums in Tskaltubo, Georgia. This documentary shares the experiences of these displaced people as they attempt to rebuild their lives amongst the ruins of once-grand health resorts. The film highlights their resilience, unity, and the significant change in the sanatoriums, which evolved from symbols of luxury to places of survival. Iamze, an 81-year-old man, and Nikusha, a 12-year-old boy, await government housing, their lives profoundly shaped by the war’s impact.
