Reuben is getting married and decides to host a party the night before the wedding. He invites his college friends, including a mix of couples and singles, all of whom have their own unresolved issues and histories.

Years ago, Forbes got into a fight with Dennis when campus security discovered he had given his underage sister, Beatrice, alcohol. This incident caused a rift among the friends, with Beatrice suffering a mental breakdown and being committed to a hospital.

Forbes introduces a top-secret invention, a machine that allows guests to switch bodies. Each guest, excited yet skeptical, agrees to participate, intrigued by the chance to see life from someone else's perspective.

In the first round, the guests quickly guess each other's identities based on quirks and mannerisms. However, a misguess about Cyrus' identity leads to a confrontation with Forbes, revealing the complexity of their relationships.

Cyrus, secretly in Reuben's body, witnesses Maya hooking up with the real Reuben when they both are in different bodies. This leads to further complications and jealousy, especially for Cyrus, who is already questioning Forbes' intentions.

During Round Two, tensions escalate as Reuben and Brooke (in Maya's body) confess their feelings for each other, resulting in a passionate affair that ends tragically when they accidentally fall to their deaths from a rooftop.

In a struggle for control of the machine, Forbes smashes the button as the police break in. This chaotic moment causes the final switch, determining the fates of everyone involved in the twisted body swapping game.

Beatrice unexpectedly crashes the wedding, revealing her true identity and seeking revenge against those she blames for her brother's fate. In a shocking twist, she manages to escape with the switching machine, now fully committed to her plans.

In the aftermath, Shelby visits Cyrus in jail, where he begs for her help in proving his innocence. She reveals that her earlier proposal was a test of his love, and now, she's content to let him suffer the consequences of their choices.

After the chaos, Forbes reveals his desperate attempts to track down Beatrice after their mind switch. He uncovers the truth behind her actions, only to find the bitter irony of his once noble intentions now twisted into betrayal.

Now wealthy and in a new body, Beatrice drives away into the sunset, free from the shadows of her past. Her final act of revenge signifies a dark twist on the concept of freedom and identity.
