On Jun’s eighteenth birthday, an ancient family custom dictates that she must select a husband, drawing suitors from elite families eager to align with the influential Asuka dynasty. Uninterested in the arranged match, Jun, accompanied by her loyal servant Kratta, abandons the groom‑selection ceremony and flees, determined to chart her own future.
