The film juxtaposes private and public realms, black‑and‑white and colour, stills and video, deafening sound with disorienting angles. After a fierce argument with her lover, Anna scars herself with red‑stitched paint, turning her body into a map. It portrays sexual intimacy from a woman’s viewpoint, rejecting one‑dimensional solutions.
