He manipulates a cursed love, while a mysterious force torments her. Zeb discovers a doll and a ring in a trash bin, then sees Ann heading to work with her friend Babs and thinks she resembles the doll. At home he caresses the doll, and Ann suddenly feels its touch. When Zeb learns Ann is engaged to Tom, he erupts in rage, burns and beats the doll, leaving Ann convinced she’s losing her mind.
