She throws out her second husband after he ruins her finances with gambling and alcohol. Using a windfall, she secretly opens an illegal nightclub and gambling den to fund a high‑society education for her daughters. When police shut it down, the sisters take over, legalize it, but their rivalry grows and ex‑husband returns, threatening everything.
