Years earlier Grigoris was forced to sell four velvet armchairs to a junk dealer. When his aunt dies, he learns her entire inheritance—a box of jewelry—is hidden in one of those chairs. The armchairs have changed owners, prompting a frantic, relentless hunt for the right seat and leading him into a series of unexpected, grotesque, bizarre adventures.
