Promising writer Daniel O’Neil’s life shifts when his rich girlfriend Dora ends their relationship. Evicted from his Copacabana hotel, he moves into best friend Meg’s modest apartment. Desperation leads him to accept a ride from a drug dealer chased by police, who asks Daniel to keep two packages of cocaine, endangering both him and Meg.
