The Boov begin their so-called friendly invasion of Earth and relocate humans to the Australian Outback. Oh, an accident-prone Boov trying to fit in, hopes to stay out of trouble as the new regime settles in.

Oh hosts a housewarming party to show the Boov have settled in, but no one attends. He longs to be accepted and hopes to impress his fellow Boov by throwing the celebration.

Oh accidentally sends the invitation to every alien race, including the Gorg, making him a fugitive in Boov society. He flees and ends up hiding in a convenience store just as Tip arrives to stock up on supplies.

To hide from the Boov, Oh agrees to help Tip locate Lucy, but secretly plans to abandon Tip at Antarctica. Tip locks him in a freezer and demands he first fix her car before she will trust him.

Kyle arrives and stops Oh's plan to abandon Tip, forcing Oh to surrender his email password so that Smek can cancel the invitation. The two struggle over control as the clock ticks on their chances to stay hidden.

They travel to Paris to infiltrate the Boov Command Centre in the Eiffel Tower, nicknamed The Great Antenna. Oh cancels the invitation before it reaches the Gorg and searches for Lucy, whose location computer later reveals she is in a human camp in Australia.

Tip uses a gravity device to flip the Eiffel Tower upside down, allowing them to escape the Boov and continue their quest. The daring move demonstrates their growing bond and resourcefulness.

Oh tells Tip he no longer believes Smek's propaganda that humans are simple and backward and apologizes for his earlier loyalty to the regime. They resolve to reach Australia to find Lucy.

In Australia they are attacked by Gorg drones, and Slushious is wrecked in the chase. Oh finds a Gorg SuperChip in a crashed drone and uses it to repair the car, boosting their chances to reach Lucy.

At the human relocation camp, Oh realizes the Boov are evacuating to safety while the Gorg threat looms over Earth. He tries to persuade Tip to flee with him, but Tip refuses, determined to reunite with Lucy.

The Boov mount a counterattack against the Gorg and Oh uses the SuperChip to push the mothership to safety. Impressed by his bravery, Kyle takes the Shusher from Smek and declares Oh the new captain.

Oh assumes captaincy and turns the mothership around to return to Earth, where he helps Tip reunite with Lucy. He leads the Boov in a new era of cooperation with the humans.

In space, Oh discovers the Shusher is actually an egg containing the next generation of Gorg. He locks Tip and Lucy inside Slushious to buy time and, with Tip's help, returns the Shusher to the Gorg. The lone Gorg inside accepts the egg, becoming the last of his kind.

Two weeks later, the Boov relocate their colony to the Moon and humans move back into their original homes. Oh moves in with the Tuccis and hosts parties, inviting many aliens to visit Earth.
