Filmmaker Will Allen immerses himself in the world of The Buddhafield, a Los Angeles-based spiritual collective led by the compelling Michel, known as The Teacher. Initially documenting their practices as their videographer, Allen gains unprecedented access to the group's inner workings. However, as the intensity of their devotion deepens, unsettling truths about their leader and the community's methods begin to surface, captured entirely through Allen’s camera.
