As the host nation for the 2018 Winter Olympics, South Korea's national ice hockey team earned a place in the Olympic tournament, marking their debut at the sport's highest level. Facing formidable opponents, the team confronted a significant skill gap, as South Korea had a very limited pool of just 180 professional hockey players. In Korean culture, avoiding humiliation and preventing a loss of face is paramount, placing immense pressure on the team. The film explores their journey and the challenges they faced in striving for a respectable performance on the world stage.
