Hercules, the son of Zeus and the mortal queen Alceme, is born amidst divine conflict. His existence is a source of animosity, particularly for Hera, Zeus's queen, marking the tumultuous beginnings of his life.

While celebrating a recent victory at a tavern, Hercules and his mercenaries meet Ergenia, who implores their aid for her father, Lord Cotys. This encounter leads Hercules to a new challenge involving the Thracian armies.

Hercules and his crew travel to Thrace, where they are greeted by King Cotys and General Sitacles. They begin training the Thracian army to prepare for a conflict with the warlord Rheseus, raising hopes for a strong defense.

Hercules leads the newly trained soldiers into battle against local barbarians, culminating in a hard-fought victory. This triumph solidifies Hercules's reputation and the loyalty of the Thracian troops.

After capturing Rheseus, Hercules stumbles upon a deeper conspiracy involving Cotys and Ergenia. He learns of King Cotys's treachery, including the poisoning of Ergenia's husband, forcing Hercules to make difficult moral choices.

Hercules faces betrayal from those he trusted and finds himself imprisoned. During his confinement, he is confronted by King Eurystheus, who reveals dark truths about Hercules's past and the manipulation he endured.
