Veronica travels to New York to reconnect with the newspaper columnist Paul MacMillan. She checks into the elegant Eaton Hotel, where a bellboy named Jimmy Dobson mistakes her for a maid. This cheeky misunderstanding sets off a chain of events that pull the two into an unlikely partnership.
