In the opening scene, Sonu and Monu prank-call their father as if they are gangsters demanding a huge sum to 'live.' The plan implodes when Amirchand reveals he is actually the driver of the taxi in which they are escaping, exposing their deception.

Sonu and Monu arrange their father's marriage to Shakuntala and pocket an advance dowry from her brother Jamnadas. The plan backfires when Amirchand refuses to accept Jamnadas and his sister, derailing the scheme.

Amirchand warns his sons to get serious about life or risk losing their home. He assigns Monu to join an office and tells Sonu to go to Goa to claim money he had lent.

To end the confusion, Sonu and Monu throw a dummy Uncle from a cliff, hoping to end the ruse. They are arrested for killing the non-existent uncle, exposing their deception.

Amirchand learns of the chaos in Goa and travels there with his assistant Kunj Bihari to resolve things. He arrives to find his sons entangled in the lies and the willful pretenses.

It is revealed that Amirchand and Gulzarilal Verma are long-lost friends, turning the tale on its head. Their reunion shifts the dynamic and nudges toward reconciliation.

The group is kidnapped by a Bhai on their way to the police station. The turn of events intensifies the danger and raises the stakes for Sonu, Monu, and their father.

Sonu and Monu escape from the lockup with Bhootnath's help and rescue their father and future father-in-law. The daring escape demonstrates their growth and earns their place as worthy sons.
