In 1930, sea captain Russel Marsh was possessed by a Great Old One, and for decades his body was not his own. While under its control, he carried out horrific acts as part of the Esoteric Order of Dagon. Now freed from the entity's influence, Marsh seeks a way to travel back in time and undo the terrible events he unleashed. However, the cult he once served will stop at nothing to prevent him and reclaim their power.
