Feeling a moral obligation, Kinley becomes fixated on securing visas for Ahmed's family, tirelessly exploring every avenue to express his gratitude. His sleepless nights are filled with turmoil as he grapples with the consequences of their shared ordeal.

Kinley takes decisive action and contacts Lieutenant Colonel Vokes to expedite the visa process for Ahmed. He assumes an alias, Ron Kay, and pairs up with Eddie Parker, a private military contractor with his own agenda.

Kinley learns that to find Ahmed and secure their safety, he must track down Ahmed's brother, Ali, who is crucial to the Taliban’s operations. This dangerous quest involves navigating through treacherous areas and engaging in a high-stakes standoff.

During his mission, Kinley accidentally draws attention to himself, alerting Afghan forces. Meanwhile, Vokes updates him that the visas for Ahmed's family are ready but still in Parker's possession.

Upon finally locating Ahmed, Kinley uses persuasion to convince him and his family to travel to the United States. However, Parker realizes Kinley’s true identity, complicating their situation and placing them at risk from the Taliban.

The Taliban launches an all-out attack as Kinley and Ahmed’s group find themselves encircled. A fierce firefight ensues, with minimal hope left, until air support arrives in the form of an AC-130 and Apache helicopters, turning the tide of battle.

With the immediate threat neutralized, Kinley, Ahmed, and their families are escorted to Bagram Airfield. They board an Airbus A400M, heading for safety in the United States, but the film ends on a somber note reflecting the harsh reality of those left behind.
