Honza and Klára, now winery owners and parents of twins, face marital struggles alongside the pressures of the annual grape harvest. They contend with vineyard thefts and Klára battles prejudice as she strives to make quality wine and establish her own reputation, separate from her father's legacy. The arrival of a seemingly helpful friend, Jirka, complicates matters further, as he’s harboring secrets and running from debt while also unknowingly involving himself with a kidnapped adolescent.
