Four actors—a black revolutionary, a bisexual hippie, a Jewish man, and a feminist—vie for the role of Jesus. After being rejected, they hop on motorcycles and head to New York, but a showdown with a gang of Elvis impersonators turns deadly. Captured in the hostile town of Jackville, they are imprisoned as blasphemers and drawn into a sinister conspiracy that could trigger the Apocalypse.
