In a disputed border town, the U.S. Army lingers, awaiting orders from Washington about which nation the settlement truly belongs to, while contending with a rowdy band of Mexican soldiers‑turned‑bandits. Into this tense scene rides the enigmatic Anthony Steffan, a polished dandy whose courteous façade hides a handful of lethal tricks, making him the wild card that could shift the fragile balance.
