Fredi M. Murer directs this Swiss drama about a family whose child vanishes without a ransom note. Inspector Anatol Wasser (Hanspeter Müller) finds that dozens of lakeside children have disappeared with no clear motive, suggesting either organized crime or a mysterious, perhaps mystical, cause. The film debuted at the 1998 Montreal Film Festival.
