In high school, unremarkable Hiro Yuuki gains access to Kiwame Quest, a cutting‑edge full‑dive RPG that promises hyper‑realistic immersion—detailed graphics, lifelike NPC behavior, the scent of vegetation, and the feel of wind. The game mirrors the player’s actual physical limits: damage taken in‑game inflicts real pain, wounds heal slowly, and its massive flag system makes progress arduous. Victory offers only the deep sense of accomplishment from conquering an unforgiving, ultra‑realistic adventure.
