Jakob feels like a volatile force, consumed by thoughts of Rakel and his disdain for those around her, particularly Thomas. He rebels against societal expectations and the frustrations of adolescence, yearning for power and influence. Ultimately, he desires the ability to summon those he considers "killers" when needed, a desperate bid to overcome feelings of inadequacy and insignificance. The film explores themes of rebellion and the challenges of growing up.
