From the Village to the City

On a sunlit day in a Kayseri village, the youngest of four brothers, Saffet, struggles to push the old plough through stubborn soil. As the plan to exchange the coins inches forward, the brothers decide to bury the treasure to keep it hidden from Ali Rıza. But in a crucial moment, Gayret reveals a secret he has overheard, stoking a fierce struggle among everyone who wants a piece of the gold. A chaotic confrontation erupts, and the coins tumble down a building site under construction, scattering in the dirt and concrete.

In the end, the long-awaited treasure proves too heavy a burden for the four brothers. Their hard-won windfall dissolves into thin air, and they are left poorer than before, returning to the field to toil once again.
