Master Lee establishes the Koryo Martial Arts Hall in Shanghai and, with Master Jang of the Chinese 18 Fighting Skill Hall, creates an anti‑Japanese organization. Japanese Major Harada seeks to crush the group; Lee is killed en route to a Korea‑China summit. His son Lee So‑ryong attacks a Japanese training hall, prompting Harada to involve the Chinese National Security Department. Suspicion falls on donor Hwang Baek‑sun, yet So‑ryong and his allies defeat the Japanese forces and escape.
