Brian and Matt invite their friends Dora, Todd, and Elizabeth to join a camping trip at their Uncle Bob's cabin in East Texas. They head down a forest road, and Matt's car unexpectedly hits something, forcing them to stop and inspect the area. The group hears eerie, loud animal cries in the distance but grins it off and continues toward the cabin.

When they reach the cabin, it is dilapidated and unsafe, so they decide to spend the night in the car rather than inside. The creaking boards and broken windows emphasize neglect, and the eerie cries persist outside. The group tries to settle in and await daylight.

The morning after, Brian finds blood on the fender and a tuft of hair in the grille, suggesting something dangerous nearby. Brian claims to have seen a Bigfoot running along a ridge, but the others dismiss it as their nerves after the rough arrival. The possibility of a threat lingers as the group tries to maintain composure.

Determined to capture proof, Brian rigs several GoPro cameras around the cabin to film any sightings. The others remain skeptical but curious about what might be lurking in the woods. The plan is to document any unusual activity while they remain trapped in the dilapidated cabin.

That night the creature's screams return and it seems to taunt them from the darkness. Brian uses night vision on his camera to peek through a window and catches a glimpse of the roaring figure moving outside. The tension escalates as the group hides and debates what to do next.

At daybreak they discover the car is completely destroyed, and the tufts of hair and blood suggest a violent encounter. They also realize they didn't tell Uncle Bob they were using his cabin and had even stolen the keys, making any rescue unlikely. The group understands they are stranded.

Matt bikes to a cell phone reception area in the woods to call Bob for help, but just as he connects, the Bigfoot attacks him. He escapes long enough to call out but the group loses contact with Bob's location as the creature closes in. The attack leaves Matt severely injured and unable to help rescue the others.

Back at the cabin, the remaining trio moves furniture to block windows and doors and discovers a trapdoor to the cellar. Todd finds a shotgun in the cellar, providing a glimmer of hope against the creature. The group prepares for a possible standoff.

That night the Bigfoot attacks the cabin again, killing Elizabeth before the others can rally. Todd fires his shotgun at the creature, causing it to retreat for the moment. The group braces for a longer conflict as supplies run low.

With little option left, the three survivors decide to hike toward the road to seek help. Later that night, they manage to rescue the injured Matt from the creature's den, bringing him back to the cabin for treatment and morale.

At dawn the survivors shelter in an abandoned RV they discover nearby. Brian receives a call from Bob, who has finally located them, and Todd lights fireworks to signal Bob's location, but the Bigfoot still attacks the group. The tension spikes as the creature closes in.

The Bigfoot moves in with brutal force, pushing the RV over the edge of a hill with Brian, Matt, and Dora still inside. The group braces for impact as they tumble toward the slope, unsure if they will survive the fall. The attack showcases the creature’s power and the fragility of their shelter.

Brian wakes up amid carnage to find Matt and Dora dead and discovers a juvenile Bigfoot corpse nearby, realizing their earlier accident may have killed it. The Bigfoot charges again as Uncle Bob arrives and shoots it, but Bob is killed in the ambush. Brian flees toward Bob's truck, pleads for the attacker to stop, and lowers the rifle as the wounded Bigfoot stares at him and then disappears into the forest.
